The Daily Prompt: EMPTY. My glass isn’t empty

When you’re blessed with diabetes, try keeping your glass not empty, both literally and figuratively.

Positive attitude helps to manage diabetes more efficiently. Diabetes management is a full-time job that can easily become overwhelming. It affects a big part of your life, it’s always on your mind. You watch what you eat, drink plenty of liquids, try to exercise regularly or as much as you can, let alone check your blood sugar daily. Still, a positive attitude helps to pull through, even if it’s one day at a time.

Keeping your glass full literally has to do with drinking plenty of water, that in my experience, helps to keep my morning fasting numbers in order.

Here’s a picture of my glass or actually a drinking bottle that is not empty.

Glass full

Today my morning fasting number was 107.

I have taken up the battle finally in an effort to bring mine more under control. This morning I was at 149 and after those 200 – 300 plus that is a great number. Hope they continue to come down.
